25th Annual Kalamazoo Scottish Festival & Highland Games
KALAMAZOO SCOTTISH FESTIVAL
The Kalamazoo Scottish Festival Association is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated volunteers, who are committed to present, promote and preserve the customs, culture, traditions, heritage, and history of Scotland and the Scottish people.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Scottish Festival. It is a fun way to display your community pride, meet new people and generally be a part of a great cultural event. Many hands make light work.... we have many volunteer opportunities:
The day before the Festival — Friday, August 25, 2017
Set-Up Crew - setting up tents, tables, chairs, children's areas, athletics, etc.
The day of the Festival — Saturday, August 26, 2017
Meat Pie Tent
Clean-up Crew — packing merchandise, taking down tents, tables, chairs, children's area, athletics, etc., then loading trailers for storage.
3664 South 9th Street
Contact: Pat King (269) 569-0091
Also, throughout the year we need assistance at parades handing out flyers, board and committees activities.
Please invite family and friends to become volunteers too. Thank you for your support.
Lang may yer tum reek!- May you live long and stay well.
Volunteers are the Heart and Soul of our Events!
It's a fun way to display your community pride, meet new people, and be an integral part of a meaningful cultural event.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to help and be a team player.
